school district tax in ohio

    do i need to pay school district taxes on income i earned from an indiana-based company? the w2 does not have anything in boxes 18-20. I am a company driver if that matters.

    If your a resident of IA you end up paying school district tax. I live in CA, but last years payroll was IA so I did not pay because Im a Non- Resident

    I live in ohio but my employer is Indiana-based. I know I wouldn't have to pay state or local in indiana, but I'm trying to figure out if I have to pay Ohio school district tax for the district I reside in, if my income was earned from an employer in another state.

    Yes. When you file your taxes in Ohio there is a box that asks you what school district you live in. Dont mess around with this the Ohio Attorney General will eat you alive with penalties.
