Kenworth, Peterbilt, Volvo/Mack, Freightliner, Navistar, PACCAR, International, and Daimler are alleged to have conspired with Eaton to illegally overcharge customers and small businesses that purchased Class 8 trucks/transmissions. After searching through google, this is old news. I changed the link to a real news article, not some law firm.

    rookietrucker,

the link you set up is to Meritor's lawsuit, the new lawsuit, which was just filed, is Class 8 truck buyers suing for being forced to pay higher prices for their trucks.

If it becomes an actual news story, you can post a link to a legitimate news site that is reporting on it. In its current form, all I see is a law firm using our community to drum up warm bodies for a class action suit. We're not here to provide free advertising.

Big Don, Mastertech and rookietrucker Thank this.

I hope they lose. We have two trucks (Kenworths) with Meritor 10 speed transmissions and I hate them. They did something with the synchronizers so they slip into gear before the engine is synced up. It makes the truck jerk every time. They're junk transmissions built by people who have little idea what they're doing in my opinion.
