If the truck driver tried to run him off the road while he was shooting video, then he'd have that on video. He doesn't.

I wonder how many drivers he baited into reacting aggressively and then turned the camera on and pointed at them to make them look bad? I hope he really screws him self and I hope they use his own videos to screw him. That would be poitec justice.

no body was there, but im sure this wacko started the whole mess. if the driver did something to react , then shame on him for letting this joker get to him. but on the same note like others stated before. heres this moron trying to find problems or create them while operating a 4 wheeler. this man should have his driving privlages revoked for infinity. f**in loser.

Well, his channel on YouTube is non-existent, so I hope that they captured all his videos before he got to delete them. Because he clearly is driving unsafely around trucks in his videos. :biggrin_25510:

Yes the driver should have just slowed down to the minimum allowed speed and let moron give up! Trying to run him off the road wasn't that smart.

It happened and now we get to pick the thing apart!

    ME! ME! ME!

Look at how long it will take to grab the gun then speed up to get to where he could "take his shot" and it's no longer self defense.

We all know from experience that if a truck moves towards you the first instinct is to slow down and even apply brakes and the horn! Second is to steer away from that thing about to turn you into a can.

What this moron did was to grab his gun from wherever it was and he had to get into position. Shooting the trailer doors is a waste of ammo and is just like shooting someone in the back. Not allowed in a self defense case.

Self defense is when you are still being put in danger. If this idiot was maintaining his speed while on the shoulder or in the grass it's not self defense, but rage. He had every opportunity to remove himself from the danger of a truck by slowing down. He's NOT on foot defending from another on foot where out running the attacker isn't going to work very well. A car with brakes applied will allow the truck to keep going at least 200 yards before it stops and as soon as the trailer passes you then there is NO danger! That truck will NEVER catch up to him once it's past him. We all know this! It's a dead guilty trial and I'll put a dollar on him getting a few years out of this!

Sorry, but the trucker isn't in jail that we know of. He could get some ticket such as failure to maintain his lane and if there was no contact with the car moron was driving there is no accident as again moron drove back up and took a pot shot at the truck which is nothing but stupid unless he was using a .40 or larger caliber round as most below that size won't penetrate a metal cab with enough velocity left to draw blood.

I will ask where the bullets hit? Behind the driver? Or, if they did penetrate all the way would he have need hit in the back? Again NOT allowed in a self defense case.

The back of a person means they are retreating and no defense is needed at that time.

It is called murder and if moron had a CCW he knew that. It's drilled into you in that class!

I will concede all but one point you made....

That is not always true...many people have been shot in the back while running away, while still firing blindly behind them.

Again...when I made that post you quoted I should have been sleeping instead of posting...it did not come out the way I intended. There is much more to this story...because as its told in the article, it makes no sense whatsoever...it needs to be known whether or not the truck did try to run him off the road.

I'm thinking its just "creative writing" on the part of whoever wrote it...maybe he intended to make them both out to be "bad guys".

The guy is lucky he didn't get run over for taking a shot at a truck. The reverse of what Rollover pointed out is also true. If some nut in a car is shooting at you, how are supposed to get away from them with that big, slow truck? Bout all you can do is hope they'll quit shooting before they kill you or use your truck to knock them into the trees. I'm not one to rely on the goodwill of someone who's using me for target practice.
