Jeezuz, don't read the comments, though, unless you want to get really depressed. Whole lotta hate for trucks!
People truly are hateful.

Wow, reality in a newspaper!
But if only I could get home every 10 days, lots of us are out here for much longer periods of time in order to be more profitable.

I know that be true. I met guys that hadn't been home in over a month. That's partly why I got out of it. I was not willing to live in a truck the rest of my life, esp for the meat-grinder company I was with. I have a family for a reason. Much as I liked you guys(most of you), you ain't it.
It's not personal.

Opinion Piece: 18 vs. 4
Interesting article from The Minneapolis Star Tribune. Most interesting are the on-line "comments" that followed the posting.

Yeah, read the comments. All the speeding, tailgating, no turn signal 4 wheelers think what a truck driver is doing wrong. They don't even think about their own bad habits.
Things will never change in this world that is in a hurry. Something about an engine and 4 tires has a psycological impact on one's mentality.
