Pilot Flying J to offer gyms, membership to truckers

    Aug 29, 2011 9:20 AM

Pilot Flying J will offers travelers, especially truckers, access to workout centers in its locations. The 960-sq.-ft. centers will be operated by Snap Fitness and Rolling Strong and be located in many Pilot Flying J Travel Centers nationwide under the agreement.

“The new gyms are designed to accommodate the trucking community and those who travel frequently for business or vacation, so they can get the workouts they need quickly and conveniently,” said Peter Taunton, CEO & founder of Snap Fitness.

I guess the first one just opened: http://www.sfrsgym.com/signup/Rollin...g_Sign-Up.html
I hope it really takes off. It seems like the only way it will work is if they are at a bunch of truck stops. I definitely want to join but it's not worth it if I can only pass by once a month. I can't wait to see one of these gyms in person.

I hear ya. How much did you lose? I've dropped over 40 since last summer. Now I'm looking to add back some muscle.

My heaviest was 420. Weighed in on Tuesday at 322. I'm 6'5" and have a large frame so I'm thinking 250ish should be my ultimate goal, that's what i graduated high school at and I was in great shape then. I started losing about a year ago after my second chest pain scare.
