Truck theif police chase
Why do people do this? I mean how do they think they are going to outrun them in a semi? This seems to happen yearly here in DFW. Stole the rig out of the Flying J over near 472 on I-20. Dropped the trailer, and took off in the bob tail chased for 53 miles. Why by the way? He said he was going to resell the fuel in the tanks. Be vigilant out there guys. They had to shred steers to end this. Ended better then the one with the GTS rig a few years ago where I think they shot out the engine. Shame cause its the companies/insurance that pay for that not the idiots that caused it.

Too bad the suspect didn't accidentally slip in jail and hang himself.

That's a congested area, in the direction he took. Thank goodness this ended with no other motorists being injured.

Apparently he's been a trucker for 25 years but his license is suspended so the idea of selling the fuel seemed like a good one. Said it was left with doors open and running, come on people, don't be dumb. You wouldn't leave your car with the keys in doors open running would ja? He thought the driver had just fueled it but it was 1/4 tank so his plan quickly went to ####.

Yea, the funny part is..they drop the trailer! It could have $500,000 worth of freight, but the dumb criminals want the cheap tractor. Rocket scientists at the best!! Welcome to DFW!!
