ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico -- Authorities say an item apparently has exploded inside a parked FedEx truck in Albuquerque, but there are no reported injuries.
Albuquerque police say the explosion was reported just before 7 p.m. Wednesday.
A police bomb squad was at the scene assessing the situation along with an Albuquerque Fire Department hazmat crew.
Authorities say the driver of the FedEx truck lives in the area and typically parks his vehicle at the location of the explosion.
There's no immediate word on damage to the truck or a description of the item that exploded.
Police say residents in the area are being evacuated from the vicinity of the truck until authorities can decide it's safe for them to return home.

Maybe he was hauling a boat tire? They do sell them on rims. I bought some last month which come UPS. 90 psi too. They shouldn't blow though unless it was defective. Ain't it in the 100's out there? -
