Shameful: North and South Express Threatens Drivers To Stop Complaints

I would say that he is a complete a-hole ! What happened to FREEDOM OF SPEECH, ROD LAWSON ?? Rod Lawson , his lawyer wife, and North/South Express are horrible, despicable, and low for making threats like this ! It sounds like this guy and his company are awful to work for and they're probably lower than a snake's belly. This is just another example of the selfish people in the Trucking industry who only think of themselves , who only want to make as much money as possible off the labor and time of a Driver ! This industry is full of thieves, it's VERY SAD, and this guy would expose his Drivers to identity theft , and ruin their lives , because he has no respect for Drivers, PURE SELFISHNESS !! And just think, Mr.Rod Lawson, if you had a great company and you were a great employer, and you treated your employees and Owner Ops with respect and you fulfilled all of your promises, you wouldn't have anything bad being said about you !!

 

If I am lucky which I doubt it will ever happen but if I was able to start my own company if the drivers to scared to come to me with issues least come here and post and I could learn so the issue be corrected. But by that it risk running off good drivers but it is a means of communications

This story is doing no serious damage to anyone here, we've been discussing about ###### companies and management all the time. But what if this story goes outside of this forum and this circle?

I recall there was a shop, seriously overcharged/scammed someone, got bad mouthed on a discussion forum, he threaten the whole forum with lawyers and stuff. End up all those threats made it to bigger message boards, bigger platforms, social media etc... That shop went out of business within a year, owner receiving death threats and assaults on social media on a daily basis.

You guys grab him by the balls right now. I imagine his business rivals and competitors should be all over this lol!

Sounds to me this Rod Larson is blowing smoke. This forum is a Free Speech were drivers/new drivers/non-drivers can learn or share about all companies.
He states that he is married to a lawyer to make his threat more intimidating.
Big deal. Any person especially lawyers would know about the follow words:

Yes, it is our right to free speech. So he can not post anything personal in retaliation to posts.
If companies treated the drivers fairly and with respect then the drivers would post nothing but good things about the owner and company.

 

He can post anything he wants as well. But, I think divulging personal information is where he lacks an attorney having knowledge.

Yes I agree that he does lack legal knowledge.
He is making empty threats. I posted the First Amendment showing the he as well as us has the right to post OUR opinion.
Public forums is an area that people are expressing their OPINIONS which is just that. The owner of this company is trying to scare people with saying that he will post personal information about the poster. He and She needs to look into the legal aspects before publishing any information employees or ex-employees.
I am not defending anyone here.

The words that we post considering companies is voicing OUR opinions. People that posts also, for the most part are from the individual personal interaction with the company/ies that they have worked for.
I think if owners of companies see something that drivers making negative statements about their company should use it as a tool to see what the drivers are saying to fix problems if they really want to keep drivers.
As far as his legal knowledge goes he states that he is married to a lawyer so she would know that law. That a person no matter what can express their opinion but can not reveal ANY personal information.
