I wish Rod all the luck with his future legal issues when he posts drivers ss#s and addresses

this is obviously private info and not for company personnel to post online

Why would a driver work for a company he is so dissatisfied with? Doesn't make sense! I worked with a guy that constantly complained about the company & even sued them because he injured his back lifting something. Settled out of court for $25K and still kept his job. He complained, everyone in the office plus half the drivers were jerks. He worked there about 22 years. When the company went bankrupt, I witnessed him in the car parking lot crying like a newborn baby. He actually had tears streaming down his face. I don't get it! If you don't like a company...leave! It doesn't say anything positive for your character by complaining...just quietly resign and leave!

This employer would get a proper throat punch for suggesting to reveal any of my private information. It's on the internet forever, how could any recover from that?
Sounds like he written it coked up.

Some things you just don't take lightly. this is one of them.

    Rod larson should tread lightly.

He sounds desperate with no care left in the wake. Don't think he is bluffing. Screwing with a mans business that he caused. Would not doubt the sincerity to reveal the private information.

the mere threat of posting SSNs and other personal vital information employees have provided to the employer in good faith and trusted him to protect is illegal on its face, it indicates profound malice and intent to harm another, and incredibly he made these threats in a public writing posted virtually around the world which supports the argument of his intent to harm

BTW this is an illegal technique used by debt collectors, also there is a problem with many trucking job ads on craigslist where they are not actually job applications but portals for identity theft so be very clear about who is getting your information

i argue it is similar to robbing a store with an empty gun, the perpetrator will be punished as if the gun was loaded because of the imminent threat it represented to the victims

there is a lot of info on the internet about this, beware of the companies that want to sell you a "solution"
here is a very informative easy to understand FAQ blog for California:
    http://www.identitytheft.org/faq.htm

identity theft is a serious crime, it can wipe out people's life savings, reputations, literally ruin the lives of all other family members overnight--even the children before they can get started in life, and it is very difficult for the authorities and vendors to prevent, detect and stop, once one becomes a victim it takes decades of constant attention, daily phone calls and letters and follow ups to correct one's credit reports and reputations, you can imagine situations so bad it will never be the same for some victims' lives

all we can do is guard our vital information, order our credit bureau reports at least once a year and report threats so there is a record if something happens later

I love that on his website he has to put a disclaimer "please don't believe all that you read on the net"
The power of the Internet and speed that information travels.

it not said anywhere that the driver works for the company. It is the owner sating that he would posts people's personal information on the net for those who posts negative on his company (which is against the Law) anyone can however post information if the information is available (ex marriage, divorce, living or dead). TTR is a forum of public opinion, so the threat that this person is making is a threat to stop people.
TTR is also a place to alert drivers to show what the driver had with certain companies so that the person who might drive for any company might be on the look for. Pre-warned is bertter than no warning at all.
