RICHFIELD - More than 100 truckers hit the road driving gleaming semis Saturday. It's all part of the 9th annual 2013 World's Largest Truck Convoy for Special Olympics Wisconsin presented by Quad/Graphics.

Wolf & Sons, Inc., and Miss Wisconsin Collegiate America 2013, Corianne Strupp. For the past five years, Wisconsins convoy has been the top fundraising convoy for Special Olympics and has raised more than $606,000 since 2005 to benefit people with intellectual disabilities and to garner support for Americas trucking industry.
Truck driver John Drake has taken part every year, and says it's fun for folks to see. "It's a unique event. It only happens once a year here in WI, just to see the convoy itself... you know little kids and people that like motor vehicles they would just love it."
The event started at the Pioneer Travel Plaza in Richfield off Highway 41, and will ran for 53 miles along the highway to the EAA Grounds in Oshkosh.
