I get nothing for DOT inspections.

 

You may have heard me say this before, I'm just here for the kool-aid.
Really just for the experience, and so far they have delivered.

 

Oh ok,I see your point.I was with Werner just for the exp.At that time I didn't care how much I made.My main concern was quit getting lost,lol.

 

You know pattyj they do make these things that deter you from getting lost call GPS....LOL J/K

 

I know but at that time the thought of having a GPS never entered my mind.

 

Umatilla OR had about 7 DOT vans

 

I just spent 3 hours going over my truck and trailer with a fine tooth comb. I had a marker light out so I brought the ladder and ended up having to do some wiring. Other than that I can't find anything that I would get written up for but I am sure if I get stopped by the wrong DOT guy he is going to find something. My last CSA equipment violation was for having snow obscuring my license plate light. I cleaned off the tail lights but forgot the license plate light. I guess I was a real danger to John Q Public with that "equipment defect".

Anyway, I'm rolling early in the morning and if the boys in blue want to inspect me then I guess it's just my lucky day.
