Trucker Murdered in Detoit

I'd have a train horn near my truck, motion activated. That is scary and just disgusting at the same time. As for the kids shooting fire works and the non English people laughing, this may sound disgusting, but it's times like this where ya wish you had some big viscious dogs to let loose. Open the door, and let em chase em away. See how fast they laugh then.

 

That is insane, we don't know when he left home to pick up his load, he probably had time to stay at Stony Ridge and didn't and still have time to deliver. I like the rules , love my 10 hour break, love working no more than 14 hours. The new 34 sucks.

 

If I get the feeling my safety is at stake and it's "me" or the "rules"..the rules will lose not once in awhile..not sometimes..but every single time..

The FCMSA, and ATA, or any other member of the USian government have no problem what so ever using a death to serve their political agenda. Here is a trucker who was prevented by law from taking what most would say are common sense precautions and you want to play the part of obedient servant gladly accepting what ever edicts come down from the government.

 

Perhaps he could have. Perhaps he was down on his 14. The point is arbitrary rules force drivers to make bad decisions to comply with the law. The only way to be 100% positive that you will always have safe parking is to never drive.
