EEOC sues trucking firm for alleged sexual harassment EEOC sues trucking firm for alleged sexual harassment 8/3/07 Quote: PITTSBURGH (AP) - The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission says a Michigan trucking company subjected a suburban Pittsburgh trainee to sexual harassment. The commission says Tameisha Wilson was fired her when she complained. The EEOC says it tried to settle with Grand Rapids-based Gainey Transportation Services before suing on Wilson's behalf. According to the complaint, Wilson was subjected to sexual comments, threatening language and unwanted touching after she was hired last October. Nothing was done when she complained and she was fired about two weeks later. The EEOC says Wilson was abandoned at a truck stop more than 100 miles from home. wtol article
