CRST team fight and stab

I would never recommend CRST.

But not exactly sure what they could have done differently.
Sounds to me like 2 Idiots Drivers got in an argument that went too far.
And they just happened to be working for CRST.

 

Yipes. I think there is more to the story than this. Why stab over being tired?

 

To be honest i dont know how companies get Anyone to team. Granted i ran team for 4 years back in the Late 70's. Today the highest paying Team company wouldnt interest me.

 

According to the Palladium-Item, two drivers were arrested after the two got into a fight and one of the drivers was cut with a small knife.


The incident occurred Wednesday at the Petro truck stop on U.S. 40 in New Paris, Ohio.


When Preble County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived at the truck stop, they found the drivers in an argument over driving, the Palladium-Item reported.


“They were a team, driving for CRST out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and they stopped at the Petro because they had some mechanical issues,” Sheriff Mike Simpson told the Palladium-Item. “At that point, the senior driver did not want the junior driver to drive because he felt he was too tired. An altercation ensued in the parking lot and eventually ended up inside.”


The sheriff said that one driver was armed with a small knife and the other driver had a P-38 military can opener.


One of the drivers suffered a minor wound.


Both of the drivers were arrested and charged with misdemeanor counts. One was charged with aggravated menacing and the other was charged with assault.


One driver was able to post bail, while the other remained in custody.

Sounds like both of these guys were a few fries short of a happy meal. Seriously, one guy had a small pocket knife and the other guy had a can opener? Sounds like a lovers quarrel to me.

Seriously though, the article said the senior driver felt that the junior driver was too tired to drive. To be honest...I would never argue with someone that wants me to take a nap.

They are driving for CRST. Amazingly enough you don't hear more about this. Low pay, teamed with complete strangers, get treated like ####, I mean, I'm surprised there isn't CRST trucks all over the highway with one driver throwing the other's body out.

 

They can barely drive straight in the first place. You expect them to be able to multitask and throw bodies out of the vehicle and drive at the same time?

 

jeez whatever happened to scratching yer ballz with yer co-drivers toothbrush while he was sleeping when u waz mad at him? nobody in this world is worth getting arrested for!!!
