If trucking companies would just lower the speed limit to 45, think how much safer and fuel efficient we would be. But why stop at 45 mph. Let's just ban all freight movement on the road system. You would eliminate ALL accidents, and if we can save just one life it would be worth it. We would also save dramatically of fuel and eliminate green house and nox gases. Also our roads would last a lot longer if all those big trucks weren't always moving on them.
