....and interviewed Don't Run Hard but Whine about Getting Paid. I think the guy is a joke and a fraud. He couldn't do his job, made a "feel bad for me" video, abandoned his truck and is now being interviewed as some kind of ####### expert???? And people take this idiot seriously. No wonder why this industry is looked at like a joke.

I've invited Allen Smith, "ask the trucker.com" to come here with his new friend and have a real discussion about fatigued driving. Pretty sure that won't happen, as media sensationalism and a known liar trumps actual truth.

despite how you feel, we all know it's a all too common real life occurence. and he's got the evidence right there on video.

He's got one side. Not both. He accepted the load and knew what time he had to roll. He's not a rookie. 4 years he had been out here. He played around and then decided he couldn't do it. Then he made a "waaa waaa" video about it. He's a real POS who couldn't truck.

    He's a professional victim.
Weak, simpleminded people with zero coping skills become professional victims.
It's everyone else's fault because they're utter failures.

Ataullah (also spelled Ata'ullah, Ataollah, Atallah or Attallah, ) is a male Arab and Muslim given name built from the words Ata and Allah, meaning Gift of Allah.

Yes, it's the dispatchers fault. The driver is too simpleminded to say no and cut it off right there.
I've worked with a few drivers like him and they make the work environment miserable for everyone else. K&B should have fired him before the situation deteriorated to the point it did. If K&B had a reasonable dress code, he wouldn't have passed and thus wouldn't have been hired in the first place.

Nothin' new fer 20/20.....some of y'all may remember the killer truck piece they did early on when 20/20 was relatively new.....all about hos&how drivers have no Choice to break the rules blah blah....
They found some lowlife crybaby wannnabe supertrucker&went x-country w/him.....showin how he didn't sleep blah blah blah.....
Whole industry went #######.....everyone tried to show BaBa&the lot driver was full o ####...but to no avail.....imagine that!

The quick version is....said ######## was loaded in Salinas on Wed AM....w/a MONDAY AM delivery in Chelsea....thats right kids a full 5 days to run it across! Course he chose to haul ### to Reno&gamble for 24 hours....then piss around stoppin every few hours to eat bs etc.....all the while runnin 85+ when he did drive(double nickle at time)
whole thing was made up sensationalized BS.....

as the sayin goes nothin' new here......

Clearly this person was/is just fed up with the demands of trucking, and wanted a little sympathy, and he's not going to get it from the dispatchers. They want their load delivered. plain and simple. I'm sure coming across Michigan was boring, and I think 1 more little nap would have knocked the edge off, and Chicago would have woke him up. He doesn't seem like a bad guy, just fed up, and I'm sure dispatchers deal with this all the time. They aren't going to hold your hand. The real downside is, the people who watched this on 20/20, which, I feel, is news for 3rd graders, come away with an even bigger problem with truckers.
