Nancy Younger, 42, said many people are skeptical that truck drivers can do their job with a disability. But the Youngers own and operate a tractor-trailer with a transmission that doesn't require a clutch. It has a gas pedal, brake pedal and buttons that are pushed to change gears.

The truck also has four doors, rather than two, so that whenWilliam Younger, 72, can't get into the truck, a lift can be put in to move him and his wheelchair into the cab.

Sorry but this is pathetic. I know that he will probably win but think about it. How many handicapped truckers are really out there. Those spots are just going to sit empty most nights. There gonna tick all of us of when we go in there at night and find no holes available but those two spots. I understand that he has trouble but c'mon man not everybody can accommodate you. You know that some truck stops are gonna have you park way out in the back. Why do the job if you can't handle everything that it involves? I know, next he will be suing consignee's because they don't have handicapped docks.

Agreed! He's got a wheelchair lift equipped on the truck. Get an electric wheelchair and drive your butt into the stop!

How can another trucker seek to make each already overcrowded truckstop in the country now have 1 or 2 less spots to use.

Handicapped or not, this is one selfish dude.
