I guess that is one way he is getting his 15 minutes of "fame" ...

Perhaps this could be a lesson to other relatively new drivers, if you can't handle situations like Abe's, tell your dispatch to never schedule you to ever drive if the sun is down. Then you can get your beauty sleep every night. Then come on here and complain you only got 1100 miles this week and can't afford the buffet 3 times a day ...

I know, but every company has a few crybaby drivers.
Abe baited the dispatcher like some neighbor gossiping over the backyard fence.
No truck driver is forced to do anything unless it's at gunpoint or a hostage situation.
He set the dispatcher up and the dispatcher may have lost his job.

Abe's video could be used as a factor against EOBR's. The dispatcher could likely see he had available hours to drive and dispatched him legally ... the forcing to drive part is the kicker ...

Sir , that is my main issue with that whole deal.
I have said the same thing every since the video popped up on youtube. He knew what he was doing from the minute he set that camera up . So how tired was he really ?

I have done that many of time . Make a empty move not far away then take a 10 while being loaded then run when its up and in this business you dont work 9 to 5.

You CANNOT be forced to drive by a dispatcher. How can someone that's 500 miles away make you do anything? What's he gonna do caps lock a message on the Qualcomm? Call me and leave me a mean voicemail? Big deal. Drivers need to stop being such babies and blaming dispatch. Ok so dispatch said you need to drive. Big deal. All you have to say is reschedule the load, I'm tired, I'm going to bed, I'll be up at this time and rolling.
Bunch of sissies I swear to freaking God......
