Now that they found and arrested him , the driver can plead MENTAL ANQUISH when he goes to court , they had him driving a VOLVO :)

He could have pleaded mental anguish just by being a driver, the volvo part is icing on the cake ..:biggrin_2556:

If they caught it soon enough.....I think that has merit. At this point I think the heat of degradation is so great no reefer will ever re-freeze it. Serious heat coming off that.

"Hall picked up the trailer Aug. 20 in Springdale, Arkansas, and was supposed to
deliver it to Washington the next day."---from a news article. Was he running teams? Also he was reported asking money for fuel.

Ah crap , sorry I quoted the wrong post ...

    My bad man ....

Yea , I mean that would be a good idea , but the problem is 38,000lbs of chicken that has defrosted and reached such a temp. I dont think a reefer unit even at -20 would ever be able to refreeze it .

I mean maybe it could but it would probably take a month and about 1,000 gallons of fuel

about 1,000 gallons of fuel Well the REEFER UNIT on the trailer he abandoned must of got WICKED fuel mileage as it supposedly sat for a month before reefer died and things got hot enough for it to start ruuning out the back door
