I dunno, to me this bill is about hiding the data until the FMCSA actually gets around to fixing it so the system more accurately represents the actual safety hazards (or lack thereof) at a company. Currently, the system doesn't really do that all to well, especially with regard to crashes. Some of the points assessed for violations are just straight up ridiculous. I'm all for corporate transparency with regard to this kind of information but only if it is accurate and meaningful.
