When Truck Drivers Die on the Job

Stories like this are so sad, There are so many out there it is unbelievable.
It is terrible for the families and other people that know them.
A driver is just trying to make a living and winds up paying for it with his life.
Many are caused by carbon monoxide, but it is not just it alone
but all the other toxic fumes that make up the fumes.
Nobody in the government wants to listen and to make it a safer occupation
for every driver.
Was looking at www.truckmonoxide.com , it really has a lot of information
on the subject. Really strikes home when you see all of them that have died
and are not being investigated.

 

It's been shown that red bull have been linked to heart attacks

 

A friend of mine is a Pilot T/S Mgr. and he says on average 1-2 dead drivers are discovered weekly nationwide with his company alone.
I imagine other t/s chain share similar numbers..

as a matter of fact pilot mgrs. are trained to deal with it and have a procedure list to follow for contacting company and for opening trucks to do driver check..
