Instead, companies should focus on hiring people with good character and paying for that good character. I'd like to know the name of the company he worked for or the company he was leased onto. They should be made public and shamed. This guy obviously didn't take his responsibilities seriously and is lucky he didn't kill someone. Irresponsible actions like this are what make our job more difficult. The public cries for more regulation and Joe Politician answers. What a jerk!

VINITA A truck driver was arrested Friday on a drunken-driving complaint after the tractor-trailer rig he was operating went off the road, spilling candy all over the highway and causing a crash with another rig and a pickup, said Ben Bertram, Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper.

No injuries were reported, Bertram said.
The driver was identified as Navid Shahzad, 30, of South Amboy, N.J. He submitted to a blood alcohol test and was taken to the Craig County jail.
He said he had been drinking Red Bull but there was something else mixed in there, the highway patrolman said.
The accident happened about 4:30 a.m. Friday on U.S. 60, about five miles west of Vinita. The crash closed the highway for an 11-mile stretch reaching into Nowata County for much of the day Friday.
The westbound truck, which was carrying groceries to the Walmart distribution hub in Bartlesville, went off the road for an unknown reason. The driver overcorrected, and the truck went off the road again and overturned, blocking both lanes of U.S. 60.
Contents that spilled from the overturned trailer included candy, hair products and baby wipes, Bertram said.
With the grocery truck blocking both lanes of the highway, the second tractor-trailer rig, which was carrying anhydrous ammonia, hit the overturned truck. An eastbound pickup hit the debris from both tractor-trailers.
No ammonia, antifreeze or fuel leaks were reported, Bertram said.
