They apperantly only want fools there...I was listening on dave nemo.and he had a recruiter from hvh on and a driver called in and asked how hard would it be to get home around the Denver area?..the recruiter responded very easy always in Denver..the driver responded by saying this...good I'm glad, I own my own truck & trailer and can never get home...I couldn't stop laughing after hearing that..

I wonder what the details of this are. A steel water bottle perhaps? Hit the windshield and cracked it?

I guess this driver royally fracked up.

Mistakin' a cell phone for a hand gun excuse gets by
the revue board out here in the Land-0-Fruits & Nutz.
"Justifiable", they say, "good shoot". :biggrin_25521:

How comforting is it to know that a LEO could work a double shift back-to-back
with little sleep in-betwixt shifts, --- tired, fatigued, --- with deadly force ridin'
on their hips or concealed somewhere on 'em?
I'm thinkin' that's almost as dangerous and potentially deadly as a Big truck
truck driver goin' fifteen minutes over their legally allowed drivin' limit.
    Ya reckon. :smt112

If I was an 0/0, don't think I would have admitted that. Wonder what he's doing wrong to never be able to get home or am I missing something.

Maybe what you've missed is the humor, Mr. Town.
I'm thinkin' the driver who called into Dave Nemo to talk to
the recruiter from HVH was just strokin' the recruiter.
Then again, ......... maybe it's me who's missin' something.
    Wouldn't be the first time.
Probably not the last time, either. :biggrin_25512:

Anyone have a different take on it?
    The same take?

Had a friend of mine do the same thing in the early 90's, cops chased him through 3 states and they were shooting at the tires and radiator when they finally got him stopped he had been up for like a week. he was having severe sleep depravation and he thought he was dreaming the whole time. needless to say he was banned for life from driving a truck

I tell ya', you hear it all here. Probably ran out of things that weren't bolted down. It's funny, but sad at the same time, the desperation of this person. I'm sure there was quite a struggle once they did get him stopped. Like CJ sez, these companies will hire crack pots like this, but won't give good people a chance, or the 3rd degree, like you're guarding the president. Stuff like this makes it so much harder for good people to get a job.
