Real world test at 65k gross. My real world is 78k plus

They don't tell us how heavy this super truck is...I mean...does the 65K include any payload or were they deadheading with all of the extra equipment? My average payload is at least 40K so if their new truck can't handle that then it would be quit worthless in todays market.

Funny stuff.....many years back engineering students took a L900 Ford and a Cummins and avg. 10 mpg cross country and loaded without tails and skirts. No solar, no covers, no hybrid.
No kidding..... -
I was just Kakulatin and with one truck getting 6.5 mpg and this one getting 12.5 mpg for 100k miles comes out to about 7385 gallons of fuel saved?!
Im also thinking not burning that 7385 gallons of diesel should go farther towards preventing air pollution than adding on a bunch of crap (egr..).
Truck is actually kind of cool lookin. Yeah 65k would be like a grocery hauler Im thinking, but even 10mpg fully loaded would be fantastic! -

Not with the loads I pull

All of these modern hybrid cars regenerate the electric system when braking. Why can't they make the drive axle electric driven with the reward tag axle a regenerator.

If, that is if many trucks this hit the roads and most trucks started getting 12.5 MPG would not the price of fuel go sky high along with taxes on each gallon going way up?
Trippy Hippy Thanks this. -
65k, tested on a perfect day (tail wind if any), on flat land....on a 200 mile round trip. Ummmmm....anybody have freight limited to those conditions? Not out here in the west! How about those "rolling hills" in the east or south????
Awww heck...what do we know we only drive em....those desk jockey, slide rule totin designers have ALLLLLLLLL the answers!
