US 41 officially becomes Interstate 41 in Wisconsin

oh whoopie as a former cheesehead i am now glad walker did something smart and agreeable

 

Hammer down! Oh wait, no one does the speed limit on 41 any way lol

 

of course not make to much sence

 

In Texas, we put up "Future I-xx Corridor" on current US Highway routes, 15-25 years before the project may be completed

 

Us 59 between Cleveland tx and Victoria tx is now I -69 now...through houston .

 

It's funny how in some respects, change is slow and miserable as you deal with it (never-ending construction) in real-time, but later in your life, in the big picture, you can't remember all the grief, all the many years ago as they were doing the major construction projects, as you travel the "new" road comfortably and swiftly (mostly), and now - take for granted.

We all will end up with remembrances of the "old road", sooner or later.

 

Gosh that area outside of Milwaukee is such a headache. It's get better though on 41 to greenbay. But from Milwaukee to Chicago or vice versa headache central

 

I just got my wife to understand interstates, U.S. highways and state roads. This will ruin my life.
