Senate passes bill to raise Wisconsin speed limit to 70 mph

I have found in my travels that the speed limit means nearly nothing throughout the Midwest. In Wisconsin the flow of traffic is about 75 or 10 over. In Minnesota the general flow of traffic is 75 or 5 over. In Chicago the general flow of traffic is 75 or 20 over. In Kansas the general flow of traffic is 75 or exactly the speed limit. All this means is less tickets so more pressure on the big trucks to generate revenue to keep my taxes down.

 

Congrats to Wisconsin for leaving the dark ages. Hopefully they don't institute a split speed limit because that is the most developmentally disabled law any state can implement. I'm looking right at you Michigan and Indiana.
