Guys, to argue with the total lack of intellect, not to mention racism and prejudice a that few of these morons espouse is futile. I'm done with it, I can't even imagine what it must be like to live in such ignorant bliss. I've become convinced that more and more high school drop outs have become computer literate even though they may not read or write so well.
Now, I have to go to work and do my 2600 miles for the week. Unlike some of you, I really am a trucker, and I need to move the goods...

Are you getting enough fiber in your diet?
Might assist you in moving those "goods".

Just a(n) (after) thought.

Are they going to use those border trucks to run the entire US?

I imagine that our average fleet breakdowns should be much higher because we have a few million trucks compared to their few hundred thousand.

So if they are showing a higher percentage of breakdowns, I take that as each of their trucks is in the shop more often than ours.
You'll have to ask the Department of Transportation how they arrived at their figures. And they're not breakdown figures, they are figures for being put out of service by DOT inspectors.

No they're not going to use those border trucks to run the entire US. The border trucks are barely able to cope with border hopping. They're local trucks, old dogs that are one step away from being junked, not much better than the piles that I drove when I worked for Pepsi-Cola. The trucks that run the US will be newer equipment equal to what we have here. I didn't get a chance to take a picture but parked waiting for a load here in town at a pecan processor were two recent model KenMex T800's, both with Aerocab double bunk sleepers.

Use FACTS instead of repeating something you read in LandLine Mag or heard the Trucking #### say (emphasis on ####).
