I'm not doing anything wrong by not letting the 4-wheeler in. So there is no two wrongs. Courtesy is just that, it's not the law. I follow all the traffic laws. At normal merge points, I have no problem letting one car in front of me.

The ones that don't deserve, need to learn, not be given a pass.

I agree with most of what you say, Mark. Courtesy is just that -- it's not the law. For truckers or four-wheelers. I just know how I like to be treated, and I tend to treat others the same.

Your remark about not giving four-wheelers a break in construction zones sounded very much like tit-for-tat... or an eye for an eye... which would make us all blind. So I appreciate your follow-up post stating that you would, indeed, do the one-on-one thing with merging traffic.
