I do believe that a lot of us older drivers forgot that the old rules had us driving 10 in 15! Not much difference in the 11/14 rule! It's just that we did get to log a nap and actually got something out of it! 11/14 not so much!

I do like these hours now compared to stop for 8 and have to do everything you needed to in those 8 as dispatchers and companies were a whole lot harder on us then! And if you got laid over for a weekend (yeah it happened as much back then as it does now!) a least we didn't have those darn "zeros" coming back to haunt your arse in a week! I love the reset and the 10 hours off duty time to actually get to shower.....then eat.............then get my 6.5-7 hours MY old skinny body wants a night! I just wish a 2 hour nap would stop the clock as a nap isn't detrimental to anyone except Joan Claybrook!
