Truck driver charged after being stopped on Thruway Truck driver charged after being stopped on Thruway 12/28/07 Utica Observer Dispatch, NY Quote: A truck driver was charged with fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon after being pulled over Thursday on the Thruway, New York State Police in Schuyler said. Edwin Taylor Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio was stopped at 10:20 a.m. while traveling east on Interstate 90 in the town of Danube. Troopers said they found Taylor, the operator of the truck, in possession of an unregistered handgun. He was arraigned in the town of German Flatts Court and released on $250 bail.
