What went down at Sapp's in Salt Lake? Did any of you guys see what happened at Sapp's in Salt Lake last week? I'm reading the news report about it now. Imagine yourself in a truckstop minding your own business, when somebody shoots a guard over a pack of gum. Then you watch the guard bleed to death. The news reports say the truckstop was closed the rest of the day, and didn't reopen until the next morning. Did that mean everyone on the lot was asked to leave? Or did they let the parked trucks remain there overnight? __________________ --Paved Dudley-- Yeah I drive a Swift truck And that means one thing It means she's slow It's a typical company truck It's just all show and no go I'm gettin' passed by Yella And even Overnite I'm gettin' passed by ever' body in sight 46 days on the road And I'm not gettin' home tonight No, my hometown's nowhere in sight And if you think I'm pissed off You're right 46 days on the road And I'm not gettin' home tonight Love pissing off those trucking company insiders.

Or did they let the parked trucks remain there overnight? I used to go to that very truck stop twice a week. If they shut it down, I feel sorryu for anyone with a load of Dannon's Yogart. They ALWAYS try to sneak in atleast an extra 1000#'s. And good ol' Sapp Brothers is the closest place to weigh. __________________

It's hard to tell... It's hard to tell if the trucks were allowed to stay or asked to leave. The one tanker is an in-house truck, so I imagine its driver was allowed finish the delivery and leave. What about the others?
