A Texas truck driver has been arraigned on murder and assault charges in the stabbing death of another trucker at a Scio Township truck stop over the weekend, officials said.
Bradley Scott Biebuyck, 36, is charged with one count of open murder and one count of felonious assault in the death of Gregory Allen Hobert at the TA Travel Center on Baker Road at I-94 on Saturday, said Washtenaw County Sheriff's Cmdr. Dave Egeler.

Biebuyck, of Garland, Texas, is being held without bond at the Washtenaw County Jail pending a preliminary hearing Jan. 8.
Hobert, 44, confronted Biebuyck at the truck stop after the suspect made inappropriate comments over a CB radio about the 10-year-old daughter of Hobert's girlfriend, Egeler said.
The Davenport, Iowa resident was pronounced dead at the University of Michigan Medical Center.
Biebuyck was arrested at the truck stop without incident.
