(WCCO) A mother of five is just getting out of the hospital after a horrible road rage incident.

Jennifer Boulden, 34, said she can't believe someone would be angry enough to attack her.

"Just like a rag doll ... he threw me right in the middle of the highway," said Boulden.

Boulden was driving along highway 169 in Shakopee, Minn. when she missed her turn, and cut in front of another driver.

She admits her actions were not very courteous but neither was tossing her out into the middle of the road after the incident.

"I rolled down my window and he's just screaming profanities at me," said Boulden.

Boulden said she pulled over to apologize to the driver but she never got that chance. He got violent and she tried to call 911.

"He grabbed my phone, right from my hand."

The Prior Lake woman said that's when things went terribly wrong. The man then grabbed her.

"He just picked me up and threw me backwards, I didn't even have time to catch myself," said Boulden. "I had no idea I was even going through the air until I hit."

"I landed on my back, then I hit my head, and I remember being kinda dazed for a second, and I looked over and I see cars just skidding," said Boulden. "I thought I was going to die, I thought I was going to get hit by a car."

Several people pulled over on the busy highway including a man and a woman who Jennifer said risked their own lives to help her.

"She's stopping traffic ... and he comes, swoops me up like superman -- that's what it felt like ... and put me on the side of the road."

Some people tried to track down the attacker who is described as a white middle aged man.

"I remember looking over and a guy was .. trying to chase him. People were like get his plate, get his plate."

Jennifer now has back and head injuries. She'll have to use a walker to get around.

"I didn't think people are like that. I mean, I know that they are but you never think it would happen to you."

Police said although several witnesses stopped they are having a hard time coming up with a suspect and vehicle description.

I assume by your post that you think the punishment for cutting someone off is a possible death sentence? Tell me what area's YOU run, so I can be somewhere else.

What happened to "We're all only human"? We all make mistakes, it just seems that lately, the forgiveness is gone from humanity.

I don't like driving in that area, give me a Chicago run any day over the Twin Cities area of MN.

Lots of the drivers for our company like hauling to a rendering plant in South Saint Paul, I have never pursued those loads.

shoot, i'd drive Minneapolis Saint Paul area over chicago any day. Chicago is the second worst on my list, New York city is my number one nemesis.

I am in no way condoning what the guy did it was wrong but she should have been paying more attn to the road and where she was going. If she was that close to missing her offramp she should have continued onto the next one.
she was probably on the phone and not paying attn.

oh, relax, will ya? I was just kidding! mostly. and I'm sure she can laugh about it now. but why in the hell would you pull over and get into an argument with someone you just pissed off? not real smart.
