Trucker convicted of sexually abusing girl Trucker convicted of sexually abusing girl 3/10/08 Deseret News, UT Quote: Michael W. Thompson, 37, a Wisconsin long-distance truck driver, has been convicted of sexually abusing an underage female while traveling between Utah and his home state. A jury convicted him recently of two first-degree felony counts of forcible sodomy. The girl, who knew the man through her family, testified that the abuse began when she was 15 and said it occurred again the next year. Thompson is set to be sentenced April 28 before 3rd District Judge Pat Brian.
