| 41 Truckers in Jail 41 Truckers in Jail 3/27/08 Smuggled over 300 Migrants Laredo, TX - New this morning; 41 truck drivers in Laredo are behind bars right now, accused of smuggling more than 300 illegal immigrants. Most of the migrants were found locked inside air tight tractor trailers. ICE agents say the migrants each paid between 500 and three thousand dollars, depending on their final destination. Most of the truck drivers were U.S. citizens all from different states across the country. | now that is pretty sad. gooberment should give tax breaks to truckers that haul illegals back across the boarder.  |

| This is NOT wrapping around my logical brain! Doesn't say if the drivers are o/o or company drivers. Wonder if these drivers are standing in a crowd and complaining about cost of health care, illegals in our country, crime and loss of jobs!!! while they are bringing them in!!!! I used to think that an illegal immigrant was like an invisible person in our homes and frankly, I cannot afford 300 more! plus with dedicated drivers trying to change their reputation, pleading their case for fuel crisis, brokers issues and strike issues, unlawful (obviously stupid and desperate) drivers doing something like this doesn't help the publics opinion about our the good guys/gals!
