Officers found the immigrants stuffed inside the cab of an 18-wheeler Tuesday night at a truck stop off I-35 South and Somerset.
Police say they were led to that location by a pick-up truck they had been watching. They followed the pick-up from a south side home to the truck stop, where it pulled up next to the 18-wheeler.

Police suspected the drivers of the two vehicles were making a drug deal, so they searched the 18-wheeler. They found the illegal immigrants inside the back cab of the big rig.

EMS was called out to the scene to treat the immigrants. They are now being held by the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Meanwhile, the drivers of the pick-up and the 18-wheeler are being held by police.
