| Well I wouldn't cut money from our troops, they deserve the right to be well armed, they deserve the right to have what they need to get the job done.. The fact is that we are there and we should give our soldiers the tools they need to win, even if that is helping Iraq government to become stable (even though the idiots have been slow about making it a stable government) I would consider this at this point national security... Anyways why not complain about the $340 BILLION trade deficit to China? why not look at NAFTA and the and the money America losses from it? Why not look into the other trade deals where America is loosing money and jobs? Why not look into into all this non sense foreign aid money we give away? Many other areas we can complain about as well.... If we wasn't selling out our country to other countries, then we would not be in this situation... |

Just like I told my husband today, if one of them ever had to stand in the food stamp or food pantry line,or the unemploment line, I think there out look on the world would be a whole lot different!!! Ya and things will blow over on the seashores of old Mexico

| Let me state that I'm not suggesting that we don't fund the troops wherever they may be. They are sent out there to do a job and I'm not naive enough to think that doesn't come with some hefty costs. I'm just saying that if we can loosen up billions of bucks to fund the war, let's loosen up a few other billions for here at home. Maybe a couple hundred for a "How to be voted into a job and actually DO the job requested of you - Level One - Beginners" would be a good way to spend some bucks, too.

| It seems ashame that with all the states in the US that congress can't spend some money on the roads. All the cars on the roadways we pay to register our cars to have the privilege to drive them on the road and part of this money is suppose to go for fixing the roads (Ha, Ha), millions of cars, the price of fuel and gas, and no one can fix the problems with the US. I don't think the war has anything to do with any of this mess. I agree with Wen782 we should fix stuff on the home front. If all the higher ups could start out like most of us or at least remember what it was like before they got into these offices. The us might have a chance, remember the ones running the country where the hippies of yesturday where free sex, drugs and rock-in-roll where the normal. |
