Ya but i have seen independent "non sponsored" test and a few do work, you just need to know what brand and what to use....

I simply don't like camera's.... If they want to catch you speeding in my opinion there needs to be a human there.... Camera can't show up to court other then the pic..... There is something called do process and this is not it...

The main purpose of the Red Light Cams is Revenue Enhancement ($$$$$$$) for the cities and the operators such as Raytheon. It's true that the cams have reduced intersection collisions, but the incidence of rear end crashes have increased substantially because out of a fear of a red light citation, people slam on the brakes at the turn of a yellow light.

I stop at green lights in some places that use cameras... it's impossible to bring 80,000 to a stop on a 55mph road when the light flashes immediately from yellow to red.

US 98 between Destin and Panama City Beach has a bunch of traffic lights like that. Greeeeeeeeeeeeen - then BAM!!! YellowRed. Unless I'm rolling up on it when it just turns green, I stop and wait for it to go red. I ain't lining the pockets of crooked cities.

Wonder if that would work on an IFTA sticker. Just recolor it to fit the year.

The guy would wave at the camera. He got an outragous fine, I'm guessing, as I recall, around $3,000 or even more. I believe he's gona get time in jail also.
