I'll have to take your word for it I have only been to the border towns. It's good to hear the whole country doesn't stink. I have to say the people I meet were great. Some how when they come here their kids seem to think they can do anything they want, another story .......

gosh, i would also like to include a large population of bosnians near chicago. they bought their cdls and besides not speaking english very well drive like maniacs. i feel an english test should be mandatory at both the initial application for the license, but for questionable folks (maybe just all) at time of renewal

Dumb ### ..... Definition : As follows

Quote:
"I had heard that Congress had passed that law, so I knew people were getting tickets," he said in an interview in Spanish.
Your point and validity of your claim would have made a bigger impact, had the interview been in English.

Quote:
"But it didn't seem fair to me because I was communicating fine with him.
I've never met a person that spoke spanish that couldn't communicate just fine. I just couldn't understand a #### thing they were saying. So it was a bit one sided.

Quote:
I don't know a lot of things, but when it comes to my work I understand everything people say to me."
The LAW states the OTHER people must be able to understand what YOU are saying.....

DMV

I was at the DMV (small commercial DMV office) the other day and I was the only one in there speaking english. As a matter of fact, one of the women behind the counter was reading the license application to the guy ahead of me because he couldn't read english. Don't know if he could speak it or not....I just stood there shaking my head.

Shift ahead for truck licenses

Federal law requires that anyone with a commercial driver's license speak English well enough to talk with police. Authorities last year issued 25,230 tickets nationwide for violations. Now the government is trying to tighten the English requirement, saying the change is needed for safety reasons.

There is an industrial plant near me. I see at lot more trucks from
Mexico going there as the price of gas goes up? I think a lot of drivers
probably don't speak enough English....but they know what "dollar" means.
How do we fix this??

You see a lot of trucks from Mexico in Florida? I didn't know that the our countries law allowed Mexican trucks that far into our country.

If I'm reading what your saying right this is a major threat to American citizens, American truck drivers, and the trucking industry. This should be stopped.

The only thing you can do that I know of is to contact your rep's, oh and tell your familiy and friends to contact them also. You should email all your rep's, senators, congressman, state and local rep's. (Be mindful of your rep's background and the political cilmate in your area). When I make observations such as you I write them and I give them a piece of my mind.

I BELIEVE our representives are paid off by buisness's and corporations to allow the Mexicans and others, both legal and illegal, to invade our country. When you wright your rep's have this in mind. I believe that many rep's pretend to be doing something about the Mexican invasion but really have little intensions of doing anything. Have this in mind when writing them.

Here's another thought you might take pictures or video's of the Mexican trucks, the place, the industry they are deliverying to, with the address if possible. I don't know what can be put up on this website. If I have the info I, for one, will write my senators and congressman and complain about this.

Thanks.

Addition: Our government and business have successfully blurred the lines of legal and illegal aliens. This has become part of their game.

...snipped.....
News Flash : The pilot program is up and running. Nothing illegal about them being there, unless they are not part of the program.

It would be helpful if we new what state and or city you are in. You have this left out on your info in the top right. Your not the only one who does this. I have to wonder why people don't want that info to be known.

When I lived in Vegas hell, what you are saying was common place. The DMV on Charelston is almost all Mexican. Vegas's population is got to be 60% Mexican now. It was built on Mexicans ever since Ronald Scumbag Reagan signed Amnesty, they have flooded in. Business OWN Vegas and the politics and police actively support the Mexican invasion under the color of freedom. They use our constitution to avoid asking suspisous Mexicans if they are here legally.

Before Vegas I lived in Mexifornia. One of the reasons I left was because we were over run by Mexicans, going from 10% to 55%.

When we have info we are able to try and do something. Thank you.

News Flash : Making Mexican truck drivers legal does not make it right!
