News of Nigerian cut causes oil market to rebound
7/18/08

Quote:

SINGAPORE — Oil rebounded to near $131 a barrel Friday in Asia as news of an output cut in Nigeria helped to halt the sharp decline in prices that began three days ago.

Eni SpA said Thursday that it had shut down pipelines carrying 47,000 barrels of oil a day after a "sudden drop of pressure."

How many drilling rigs and platforms are sitting around in storage? Know of any? Me neither.
How many out of work oil workers have you met in the last few years? None? Me neither.

hahahahahaha

I've gotten a couple screams for help from Nigeria also. I told them I didn't feel like helping just now. But I appreciated their offer of $10,000,000,0000,000.00

Ever hear of Kinder-Morgan? [LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link.
They own the pipeline structures that the oil companies lease to move product. They also own transfer stations and storage terminals as well. I worked for the company they bought out. Ever hear of SFPP? (Sante Fe Pacific Pipeline).
Companies like Kinder-Morgan wouldn't be in business if they had no product to run in the lines or store.
