Border agents bust truck with five tons of pot from Mexico

Border agents bust truck with five tons of pot from Mexico

One truck driver from Mexico recently discovered legal limits to the free flow of commerce between Mexico and the United States.
According to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, agents at the Calexico, CA, Port of Entry found “anomalies” in a truck load of tools, instruments and parts when using a gamma ray machine. Agents opened up the load, finding 469 wrapped packages of marijuana weighing 10,224 pounds.
Officials estimated that the marijuana had a street value of $4.6 million.
The driver, a 22-year-old male from Mexico, was arrested, and the tractor and trailer were seized by Customs and Border Patrol.

An unrelated case found even more marijuana in a commercial truck.
On June 13, customs agents at the Calexico Port of Entry busted a 32-year-old driver from Mexico for allegedly attempting to smuggle seven tons of marijuana into the U.S. hidden among a load of “plastic articles.”

Guess the drug cartels are not paying off the right people..

Statistically 12-15 % gets checked at the Max.. 85-88% get threw.. So, that statistically says 85 loaded trucks of drugs got threw before that single one was busted
