Massachusetts has safest roads

Quote:
A new study says Massachusetts has the fewest road fatalities per miles traveled and Montana the most, while Montana, North Dakota and Wyoming are the only states without clogged interstates.

The second safest roads are in Minnesota, the third safest in New Hampshire, according to the Reason Foundation’s 17th annual highway study. The non-profit think tank measures the performance of all state-owned roads and highways. The study calculates the effectiveness and performance of states in 12 categories, including traffic fatalities, congestion, pavement and bridge condition, highway maintenance and administrative costs.

Hmm I never see really many accidents in Montana, I suppose maybe most are in winter when I don't go there much. Massachusetts is real restrictive on where trucks run, while Montana you can go off onto the crap roads I suppose.
