Iowa DOT requests public comment on transportation plan Iowa DOT requests public comment on transportation plan 8/19/08 Quote: Iowa truckers who have a beef with a frequently used state roadway, now is the time to push for a fix. The Iowa Department of Transportation is asking for public comment on its four-year transportation improvement plan. Proposed projects include work on interstates, highways, local roads and bridges. Residents can provide comments on the proposed projects during a scheduled meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at DOT headquarters in Ames, IA.
