Well, for sure that might create a problem in more ways than 1.

Sometimes the best clearance in St Louis (there's one I can think of where the Right Side on I-44 is 13'11", the Left is 15'5") is on the Left. As soon as high loads start knocking bridges, you're gonna see that change again. The big beef in St Louis (from when I drove through on August 8th, 200 are Dump Trucks getting into the 2-most left lanes and just forcing drivers who need to get through to snake through traffic. Dump trucks doing 60 in a 55, against a flow of traffic that is maintaining 80. And wandering/getting thrown into the left lane is asking for trouble.

Let's see how this pans out over time.

How fast are the cars going if trucks going too fast are holding up traffic?

What I don't understand is why one would feel they need to call the police because they think a truck is holding up traffic... I have one thing to tell these cry babies, GROW THE HECK UP...... Sure it ticks you of if your not able to get around a slow moving vehicle, but call the police? that is just darn right childish..... Another issue is these people are the same people who tailgate you and have no ideal whats in front of that truck... anyways this is just another way to make revenue... they should tell these cry babies that it is actually safer to keep big trucks passing threw to the left....
