Trucks Burglarized at Valencia Grand Prix Thieves targeted 20 race and hospitality transporters at the Valencia Grand Prix race in Spain, August 21-23, 2008. Sleeping gas was fed into the trucks. While the drivers were knocked out, thieves stole computers, passports and other valuables. National Speed Sport News correspondent Dan Knutson reported this in the 9/10/08 issue. It was first reported in The Red Bulletin, but I do not have a direct link. The publication of The Red Bulletin is also interesting from a trucker standpoint.
