Thousands of Dollars in Gas stolen Big Rig Drivers Accused of Stealing Thousands of Dollars in Gas 9/16/08 NewsWest9.com, TX Quote: MIDLAND - A fast-thinking manager at a Flying J Truck Stop in Midland may have put the brakes on a Nationwide ring of gas thieves. Midland County Sheriff's Deputies caught up with two tractor trailers on Interstate 20 on Monday night after an employee at the Flying J Truck Stop tailed them and called the authorities. Flying J officials tell NewsWest Nine exclusively that the truck's drivers are suspected of stealing at least $20,000 in fuel from Flying J stores across the Country.
