Who HAS Gas...And who DOESN'T

Who HAS Gas...And who DOESN'T...As Of Sunday Afternoon Sept. 28th
WHKP, NC
Quote:
As most of us have learned by now, who HAS gas and who DOESN'T in the Hendersonville area changes literally from hour to hour, as some stations run out, and others get deliveries. The gas supply situation was noticeably better Sunday...with less apparent panic on the part of motorists, and more stations WITH gasoline.

We had this same problem last week and the week before here in TN.. it was crazy.. more stations were out of gas than acutally had gas.. there were lines about an hour or longer, people got into fights.. our gas stations all have gas now but we are still paying 3.99 a gallon..

Plenty of gasoline and ethanol around here, diesel is up about a dime , though, farmers hitting harvest hot and heavy. Ethanol blend is around 3.30, straight unleaded is 13 cents higher, mostly.

We are only getting a little at a time here. The whole town is out except for when shipments come in.

We have plenty of gas and diesel in KY . I asked dispatch Friday if any of our drivers had problems getting fuel and he said no . We are regional and can run to NC , TN , MI and other states without needing to fuel . I always fuel in KY before going to Canada and refuel in Walton , KY when I get back .

Holy cow! $3.50-$3.80? We haven't seen that in weeks now! You are doing good to find it for less than $4.29 here.

I read that a gas station in Cobb County is being investigated for selling gas for over $8.00. Supposedly, there is an actual store receipt proving this. I haven't heard anymore about it since first reading it a few days ago though.
