FMCSA reminds port truckers about TWIC deadlines FMCSA reminds port truckers about TWIC deadlines Quote: The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Adminstration has issued a reminder to truckers that if they access a secure area of a port or vessel as part of their job, they must have a Transportation Worker Identification Credential card. Individuals who meet TWIC eligibility requirements will be issued a tamper-resistant credential containing the worker's biometric (fingerprint template), allowing for a positive link between the card and the individual. http://www.etrucker.com/apps/news/article.asp?id=73045
