New York's latest experiment aimed at helping truckers rest in comfort without running their engines is rolling into a Fultonville truck stop this fall.
With help from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, EnviroDock Inc. of White Plains will install five of its new units, also named EnviroDock, at the Ambest Super Stop parking area off Thruway Exit 28 in Montgomery County.
"We've been looking at these units for a long time, but we didn't really like what was out there," said Lou Polsinello, owner of Polsinello Fuels in Rensselaer, which operates the truck stop. "We think this one will fill the bill."
