DELHI -- A methamphetamine laboratory was discovered in the middle of an almond orchard in Delhi on Thursday when Merced County Sheriff's Department deputies attempted to locate a stolen big-rig trailer.
They found the stolen trailer along with a meth lab ready to go but not in production. On the premises, a pit filled with used chemicals for meth production was discovered.
Vicente Serrano, 42, of Turlock, was booked into Merced County Jail on suspicion of manufacturing meth charges.
